We grow up looking at our parents like they are invincible. At least that was me and my view of my dad.

They will always have the answers. (Still wild to become a parent yourself and realise we just wing it half the time)

They will always be there.

That’s been the hardest part of these last few days. Watching him reduced to a shell of himself. Drained of energy, but at least not suffering. He’s too weak to continue chemotherapy at this time. Hopefully, the infusions and treatments will get him on the right path so we can discuss a long-term plan once again.
